Camp Nanowrimo

Hey, kids!

I know it's been awhile, and that I've been neglecting this blog. The past two months or so have been very busy, but projects have been simmering in the background. I like to use my author blog when I have something to say or something to share, and I will soon! So keep watching this space.

In the meantime, the first Camp Nanowrimo of the year is just around the corner, and I'm signed up for April. However, rather than producing another draft for my Tales of Omorbia series (I've decided I need to take a step back from that story and re-evaluate), I'm excited to be working on a sci-fi novella that has been working through my brain for the past few months. I have plans for the novella, so stay tuned for that as well!

In the meantime, what about you? Do you plan to devote April to a writing project? The nice thing about the camps is that the word count is flexible... so you can work on a novel, novella, short story, collection of poetry, even a script. It's just a nice time to pump out that first draft and finally have something to work with. I'm excited! If February and March were filled with running around and having experiences, April is going to be the time to reflect on those experiences and turn them into art!

See you at Camp! :)
